On one metal-roof job, the engineer refused to approve a 640W module without extra clamping, which killed the savings. Do your own structural check before falling in love with a lower per-watt installed cost.
The 640W module is also not a bargain if it's not in stock. A module that sits on backorder for 12 weeks is not a deal at any price. Check the schedule before the price.
