Why does delivery timing deserve so much attention? Because module delays cascade. Racking crew shows up, electrical subcontractor shows up, grid connection paperwork gets filed — and suddenly you're paying people to wait. A four-week slippage on a mid-sized rooftop array can erase 3-4% of your projected margin.

If this scenario fits you, a complete kit is often the smarter purchase. How to tell which scenario you're in
Three questions. Answer honestly.
- How many panels are you buying? Fewer than 10 → Scenario 3. Between 10 and 100 → Scenario 2. More than 100 → Scenario 1.
- Who's doing the installation? You, a friend, and a weekend → Scenario 3. A licensed crew → Scenarios 1 or 2.
- What's the primary goal? Business payback under five years → Scenarios 1 or 2. Backup reliability or lifestyle project → Scenario 3.
If you're still torn, this analogy might help. You probably know the answer to "which planet is the largest in our solar system" — it's Jupiter, about 2.5 times the mass of all other planets combined. But you wouldn't navigate a ship toward Jupiter just because it's the biggest thing out there. You'd navigate based on where you need to go. Solar panel selection works the same way: the impressive specs matter less than your destination — project size, installation capacity, and end goal.
Even after choosing LONGi as our primary supplier for commercial projects, I kept second-guessing. What if their quality slipped after my first good batches? What if the reliability data was cherry-picked? The three months between ordering and our first delivery were stressful. Then we ran incoming inspections: every module tested at or above nameplate. I relaxed.
